Here's the event description on Jack's website:
Landscape drawings still bogging down in detail? In this free workshop we will take a look at some common elements in landscape drawing and explore ways of quickly and accurately reproducing their textures, structure, and suggested detail. We will take a close look at ways of drawing clouds and skies, grasslands, woodlands, rocks, and water. With this bag of tricks you can supercharge your plien-aire drawings and quickly represent the landscapes you observe.

Note that this is a Guest Post: not an official SF Sketchers meetup, but a sketching-related event that I think would appeal to some members of our group.
