Nob Hill's Episcopal cathedral is a San Francisco landmark, with mosaics by De Rosen, lots of stained glass windows, a replica of Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise, Keith Haring's AIDS Chapel altarpiece, and two labyrinths. It has made appearances in the work of Mark Twain, Alfred Hitchcock and Armistad Maupin. It's an international pilgrimage center that welcomes people of all faiths.
12:00 Meet near the indoor labyrinth. Text Laurie (415)[masked] if you can't find us.
2:30 Meet at the Pete's Coffee kiosk in the lower level to share sketches and chat. If it's not raining we can take our coffee outside and sit in the sheltered courtyard.

Tips: Come early and do a tour. There are free docent tours of the cathedral from 11:30 to 1:30.
Getting there: The #1 and 27 buses go very close, and there are several cable car lines in this area.
Parking is difficult but probably not impossible. Bicycling is only an option for the strong of leg: these hills are steep.
