Please join the North Bay Sailing Meetup group, and come celebrate the historic success of SeaTurtles.org on the schooner Seaward!
Thanks to their advocacy and the support of people like you, the Pacific Leatherback is the official marine reptile of California and this October 15 will be the first ever Pacific Leatherback Conservation Day in the state!
Climb aboard this classic schooner, an 82-foot double-masted sailing yacht to explore the bay in the "greenest" way possible - wind power! Sit back and relax, enjoy delicious snacks and beverages, and get involved in supporting sea turtles and a cleaner, healthier ocean.
All ages welcome! As a friend of SeaTurtles.org, use the code "seaturtle" for a discounted ticket.
This is a relaxing sunset sail which benefits two non-profit organizations.
$50 each person, but there is a $10 discount with "seaturtle" code, which is a real deal for a ride on a big boat like this.

This special sunset sail is offered by the nonprofit Call of the Sea in partnership with us as a celebration of the Pacific Leatherback Sea Turtles in California. Friends and members of the Sea Turtle Restoration Project get discounted tickets! All proceeds from this event will be donated to support the efforts of the Sea Turtle Restoration Project's Marine Debris Action Teams to cleanup plastic pollution that is deadly to endangered leatherback sea turtles.
Seaward's and the Sea Turtle Restoration Project’s crew of professional educators will also be offering optional learning stations in ocean conservation, plastic pollution science and removal from the sea, and bay ecology and navigation. Conservation leaders from SeaTurtles.org will be available to discuss the campaign activities behind the passage of the Leatherback Marine Reptile Bill last year and current actions we can all take to save sea turtles and work towards a cleaner, healthier future for San Francisco Bay and all ocean habitats.
We are pleased to be pouring a very special beverage to those guests over 21 years old.
