This has always been one of my favourite rides because it combines some nice climbing, quick downhills, absolutely breathtaking scenery, and some very nice vino! We stopped at Sausal and Mozzacco Wineries. Sausal we found out has been bought and will be closing at the end of the yr. Too bad they're a great winery. Bought for it's land by Silver Oak (produces strictly Cabs), because they own land just down the road and it produces great grapes. The good news - Mozzacco! No bad wines in the house. Even their entry level Zins are amazing. Discovered them at last March's barrel tasting and have been taking people there ever since. Top notch - period. Oh the ride - weather was killer - 74* and what a beautiful day! Hopefully we'll have pics posted soon. This was a fantastic ride that you should take when I repeat it sometime in early Spring. The scenery is just amazing, as you'll see from the pics.
