Having just written about Brazil on my international culinary blog (http://savoryaccent.c..., I am thrilled to host a dinner at Espetus Brazilian Currascaria (steakhouse) in San Francisco. I reserved a table, and the meal will cost around $50/person before tax.
The restaurant says....."Experience the authentic flavors of Brazil, at Espetus Churrascaria, the Bay Area's first Rodizio ("continuous service") style restaurant. Our Brazilian Gaucho Chefs slowly roast the highest quality cuts of beef, lamb, chicken, pork and seafood over open flame and serve them right at your tableside. Our prix fixe menu is offered on an all-you-can-eat system, including a sumptuous salad bar and a variety of side dishes."
Consumer review of this restaurant on yelp is pretty high, and it wasn't easy for me to find a table. So, my expectation of their meat quality and service is extremely high:-)
The restaurant told me there is a PAID parking lot on Franklin and Market, but I'll be taking BART. It's a 1/2 mile walk (5-6 blocks) from the 16th Street Mission BART station. What a great exercise to get my appetite going before the sumptuous Churrascaria. I am looking forward to indulging the flavor of Brazil with fellow world travelers!
