I enjoy drinking wine and learning more about the different varieties and regions that they come from.
How can you assess how heavy the tannins are in a red wine? It used to be that there were many schools of thought about pairing reds and whites with specific types of food - now it's all about what people like. Why the change? How can you know how many years to let a wine mature before drinking it?
Tough call - I really can't say. However, I really enjoy Chaucer's Olallieberry Wine. As for everyday drinking - how about two buck chuck Chardonnay from Trader Joe's? Seriously though - I've had many delicious Chardonnays, Merlots, Pinot Grigios that I've enjoyed - how to choose?
I like Hefeweizen and Henry Weinhard's beer. I also enjoy Vodka Tonic and specialty mixed drinks when I go out.
Depends on the day and the mood I'm in.
