Very disappointing. The planned topic (which drew the crowd) was cancelled. The organizers announced this after we were already seated. Instead, we had two "rerun" topics... one reading someone else's presentation!

It is OK to get sick and not do preparation, but announce in advance so busy people can plan accordingly. Some people could not come because it was sold out... I would have given up my seat.

Essentially, you announced you were showing *Man of Steel* and instead we had one person read notes on Iron Man 1 and a condensed version of Iron Man 2.

Hi Perry and Susan, Your points are valid and duly noted. We apologize for not making the announcement of change in presentations before the meetup.

Although I was looking forward to the planned topic, I can safely make an assumption that the hosts are "busy people" as well.

Although, I too attended for the original , I did in fact positively learn from what was presented. Also, this is not only a class, but a "networking event" too - (first 1/2 hour). Remember these people have other jobs and give of their time "freely" to make these events possible. Not too many places you are going to find these type of classes / networking event for $5.

I enjoyed it, as usual. I would have liked to hear the 1-hour version of Michael Chacon's presentation. Maybe in the future?

Not bad! There was a bit of a hiccup at the beginning due to unforeseen circumstances, but whatever I was just there to meet friends and colleagues. I haven't had a lot of chances outside of conferences to meet web workers, so at this point I'm easy to impress.

Please put me on the wait list (if there is one) as I see there are no spots left! A very popular topic this time! I'll pay at the door if a spot opens up. Thanks...CP
