hi Mike

say, the thing is, i think you're right, if you ask someone about , did you know about building 7?  and they hear nothing else. it's still catchy, got to write a song about it,  and it sticks in the mind like dust in the lungs

say, G,  i ran for mayor of SF, and gee,  i would do it again, of course,  only understanding and thereby  intending to be put back in jail and have my life wrecked again as a consequence,  but it's worth it anyway, to get the truth out and maybe some changes and hope, the real stuff, for our poor planet

the issues i think are important for beginners are the easy and obvious ones

building 7,  lack of democracy, bring it on...
global warming,  too many cars,  need separate bike thouroughfares
change of mindset to allow actual freedoms of thought, speech, freedom to  protest and speak and  congregate

social welfare programs,  education funding, not wars

greens for peace,  fully legalize cannabis, prostitution,  all drugs

this is partially a response, a partiall, to the other post as well

running is real tricky stuff...

G

email me if you want to read my book y'all, i'll  email it back,  [address removed]

thanks

I agree Grasshopper, I usually have the best response by asking, "Do you know about bldg. 7?"  9 out of 10 people (STILL) say no! Then I tell them how huge it was, (as tall as our B of A bldg), and then usually show them the flier with bldg 7 collapsing. I tell them, "Yeah I knew nothing about it for years either, and when I saw it collapse at nearly free-fall speed, and no plane ever hit it, I was so upset at our media for not informing us of this, that I knew I had to start researching on my own. I try to convey to them that it's not that they are stupid for not knowing this stuff.
I try to stay away from things that would seem too 'far out' to people, even if I know they are true. People need to hear only what they can handle at the time. I NEVER talk about the New World Order, or the illuminate, or the Masons! Until people get the FACTS down, and start researching for themselves, talk like that just drives people away, probably forever!
Another thing I stress to people right off is usually a reply to their question of: "Who do YOU think did it?", or other baiting questions, and I reply; "I don't know, and that's why we need a REAL INVESTIGATION", and then I will explain about Philip Zelikow and the other problems with the 911 commissions report.
Someone that used to go out with us a lot, used to start off by asking the question: "What do you know about 911?", and depending on what the people would answer, he'd know where to start with them, which I always thought was pretty smart.

Did you know that building 7 , WTC 7 came down that day, although it wasn't hit by an air plane.  it was a controlled demolition...

We had several new people out with us on Saturday 12/11, and it was great.  We never did get around to talking strategy, but we had fun.

A Truth Action member suggested that we should discuss what we say during Actions - if we only have a few seconds to grab someone's attention before they walk on- while getting our message out so that it sounds clear and focused - what should those few seconds sound like?

Please send me the phrase that has been useful and successful to you.  We must (1) state only 9/11/01 related facts, and (2) stay on topic.

You can send them to the list, or if you are shy, directly to me at [address removed].

Thanks!

Kathy
