C++14

The C++ Standards Committee currently has twelve Study Groups and they are busy as beavers working on new Technical Specifications and new standards for 2014 and 2017. The 2014 standard is a "Committee Draft" with means that it is being voted on by national bodies and is on schedule for release next year.

This talk will focus on the language and library changes that make up the C++14 Standard.

    Unfortunately I won't be able to go due to a work conflict. I'm very interested in the subject and hope the slides will be made available and/or the talk can be given again at a later time (maybe the upcoming code camp). Thanks.

    I've been wondering what to do with the extra time.

    I've been thinking a lot recently about undefined behavior and its implications for compiler optimizations. Would anyone be interested in hearing about this?

    This talk will be uncharacteristically short. There will be plenty of time for questions.
