It took me forever to find a self defense class for women. There are 2 that I know of: 1 is offered through the Fremont Union High School (4-sessons) from Jan. 23-March 14 -- Saturdays from 10-12. The cost is $60.

I am taking an INTENSIVE Women's Basic Self Defense -- recommend from a woman who works in a rape crisis center. It takes ALL weekend -- location changes -- and is expensive $500. There is a follow up class dealing with weapons.
