Please indcate whether you are already an LF photographer or would like to get started in LF photography in near future. (If you have no intention of doing LF photography, you may be better served by joining other photography groups.)

I shoot 4x5 and have a decent film stock in the fridge that I would like to use up. I figure this group would allow some opportunity to do so.

What are your photography subject areas (e.g. landscape, portrait, etc.)?

Landscape and portrait, usually.

Do you do B&W or color or both types of photography? What film do you use? If you use traditional darkroom, what developers do you use?

I shoot mostly c-41 and e-6, but have some b/w film stock. I drop off my film to get processed at Lightwaves in SF.

Do you use digital techniques (scanning, Photoshop, digial printing, etc.) for producing the prints or you use traditional darkroom or both? What digital printers and papers do you use? What traditional darkroom chemisty and papers do you use?

I use a scanner, Lightroom & Photoshop, and have a Canon Pixma Pro 9000 II printer. My paper preference is Hahnemuehle for fine-art prints, and Ilford, Brilliant, & Epson for anything else.

What type of LF camera(s) do you use (e.g. 4x5" Arca Swiss)? It's perfectly okay to join this group even if you don't have an LF camera yet.

4x5 Tachihara

Introduction

I've been shooting mostly digital for the past year and 1/2 and would like to get back into shooting film, if only to use up the stock that I have left and maybe find some excitement in it again.
