Anybody up for an early morning shoot at Alviso?

I am thinking of going up to Alviso next weekend (June 15), to shoot with the early morning light. Is there enough interest in other members of the group to make this an official meetup? - If so, the plan would probably be to meet at the Alviso parking lot at about 6:00am, shoot for 2 or 3 hours, then go out for breakfast.

I'd love to do this exact shoot and timing but next weekend won't work for me. You provide inspiration to schedule this for myself, I'll let the group know when I do.

That sounds good, I need to double-check the family schedule before I can confirm.

Hi Mark,

Best of luck guys. Email me if any of you would like advice.

I usually pull the plug on outdoor landscapes in the SF Bay Area by late April after our hills lose their green and then look to greener areas closer to the coast. Recent weeks been rather busy up with road trips on our North coast.

Seascape images with foggy atmospheres like this shot I just made (well minus the flowers) can be prepared for any time of year, one just needs to locate potential frames like at Point Lobos and then get to understand technical weather forecasts enough to be there when situations are promising.

For the next couple months my focus will likely be in the Sierra Nevada including a 9-day backpack over Sawtooth Pass lugging the beast mid July.
