Friday Poker (San Mateo) No Limit Texas Holdem, $0.50/$1
I'm located near 92 and Hillsdale in San Mateo.

Here's the essential stuff to know:
RSVPs: Treat your RSVP as a commitment! Don't RSVP speculatively to only cancel when a preferred location or preferred stakes game appears on the calendar.
Game and Stakes: No Limit Texas Holdem $0.50/$1 blinds, no rake. $80 to $200 initial buy-in. Min rebuy $40. Max top-up $200.
Meetup Logistics: Members and their guests may attend. You must show proof of age (21) to play. You will receive an email prior to the meetup with the address, directions and my phone number. Bring drinks/snacks for sharing. We have an outdoor deck for smoke breaks. No lending or borrowing money on premises.
Late or frivolous cancellations and no shows ... are subject to being deleted from the RSVP list for future games at my discretion and may also be marked no show so other hosts have visibility. Call or text me with excuses, plans. If there is a waitlist, I will try to message players to keep the game full.
Stop Time: The game will end after 5 hours unless players agree to another time. If you know what time you are going to leave, please announce that when we start play. You must give 30 minutes notice to leave the game unless you bust out.

Here's the other stuff to know:
Joining / Returning / Breaks: You can't come in on the small blind or button. If you miss blinds you must post or wait. If not in the room by the time action gets to you, your hand will be mucked. (Audibles will be honored.)
Shuffle Protocol: After a hand, the dealer will move the button and cut card and cut a preshuffled deck for the next dealer and only then collect and shuffle the cards from the previous hand, stack his or her chips, etc.
"Show Me": Each player will receive one special reveal chip with their initial buy-in. A reveal chip may be played before a hand is mucked for a peek at the hand (please: no sharing/commenting/etc.) A reveal chip can also be used to block a reveal chip play. Blocking is effective against all players for that hand. After a reveal chip is played it is removed from the table, including chips blocked and those used for blocking. If the owner of the sought hand reveals to the entire table, any reveal chips played are returned to their original owners. Reveal chips may not be sold, traded or accumulated across games.
Flipped cards: If the dealer flips over your first card, you have the option of showing the table and keeping it.
Penalties / Time: Players acting out of turn shall throw one small blind into the pot (dead money). Time may be called by any player on the table after which a 60 second countdown will commence. Expired time means dead hand.
Disputes: If there is a dispute the host will consult the players and make a ruling. If the host is in the hand the players not in the hand will rule by majority after discussion.

I hope everyone will come back. I feel fortunate to be able to host a fine group of players in my home. Congrats to the winners and better luck to those who fell short. I look forward to playing with all of you again.
