Thanks for your interest in this game!  We're looking forward to meeting you.  It's a great group of people and we play in a cool 1860s loft downtown.  The group is relaxed and we love to player poker!  We often also stay afterwards to talk poker strategy and tips!

FYI, we have a 2 no-shows and you're out policy.  Please only RSVP if you will come.  If you are going to un-RSVP, I request that you do it at least 24 hours in advance of the game.

The Game:

$2/$3 No Limit Holdem.  The minimum buy-in is $200. The max is $300. You can continually re-buy at any time but can only buy in or top up to have a max of $300 in chips in front of you.  You must give 45 minutes notice to leave the game unless you bust out. The game will end 5 hours after we start.

Stuff to Know:

Please bring drinks for the group. Parking and traffic can be bad (especially when the Giants play) so plan accordingly. Please be at the cafe at the designated start time. We will walk across the street 15 minutes afterwards to where we are playing. If you are not at the cafe by the time we leave you won't be playing.

One Incentive to be a Regular:

If you played at one of the last two games that I hosted and you show up on time, you will receive one special token. You may use the token to force the winner of a hand to reveal his cards to you regardless of whether you were in the hand.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
