SFDUG - San Francisco Drupal Users group February Meetup

  • This location is shown only to members

February brings us another set of cutting edge Drupal presentations brought to to us by three local Drupal community members. We are really lucky to have a bunch of great Drupal talent in our area. This month I am adding another showcase site to the roster, because its so cool we have to check it out. So two cool Drupal case studies to start with. Esten Sesto from Project6 Design coming by to show off which is one of 10 sites for an entire division of UCSF. Kieran Lal from Acquia and Jason Hibbets from will give us a showcase study on the new web site. This is a large community web site built by RedHat. For our technical series we have Peter Harrington
http://www.heavisidel... who will show us how to make Drupal talk to native Iphone and Android applications. Mobile is all the rage these days so this sessions will be of particular interest to those who would like to expand their drupal site content available on mobile devices. If you signed up to Volunteer for drupalcon you will be hearing from Ofer soon. If you know anyone who would like to Volunteer or have questions about open positions, send Ofer email [masked]. As I mentioned in the last Meetup the easiest way you can help right now with Drupalcon is to write twitter posts: Join us in San Francisco for the best @Drupalcon yet #drupal Write blog posts, especially if you have an active blog. Post on Facebook. All of these things help build up the Drupalcon momentum and get the word out, so if you want to help go for it. See you at the next meetup! John

Aloha D.U.G. ~ the video I took has been uploaded!

It is the Feb Meetup in its entirety. Its shot in HD but I rendered/downrez'd it as fast/small as possible. If there are specific portions of the playlist that you appear in, and would like me to re -render (and clean up) just comment on youtube. I really enjoyed this months DUG... Thanks to all of the Organizers, Presenters, PariSoMa, and sponsors!

Great to be able to talk about the UCSF project and Blanc & Otus project. We had a great time. If anyone is interested, you can see a few more photos posted on our Facebook page. I've also included the link to download the PPT presentation if you'd like a second look.

Great turn out, interesting review of multi-site installation and module usage. We also reviewed the integration of drupal with iphone using xml rpc, which was quite helpful.

Thank you John and everyone else who made this happen!

Oh, ... And there was Beer!
