Pine Lake Park is an off-leash dog park just west of Stern Grove. There's plenty of parking and the area is large but enclosed.

There's just a couple of benches for seating, so a blanket or lawn chair is handy.

PS: The public bathrooms in the park are often locked, and the other nearest restrooms are about 1000 feet away at Stern Grove.

    I can't wait to meet all of the other doxies. Gracie turned 4 months old yesterday so she's fired up and ready to play.

      “ Great meetup... Nice to meet new dog owners and their pups.. It seems like the meetups are getting larger and larger..That's great. The dachshunds all have a great time...I wish the park wasn't so muddy.....but that is to be expected with all the rain over the week. We look forward to the next meetup next month and hopefully a nice barbeque in the spring time.... ”
    • “ It was our first meet-up, and we had to leave early. My daughter had a good time. She loved to see all the different types of Dachshunds. We got to mingle with a lot of different people. I will have to stay a little longer next time. I noticed that people were starting to barbecue. It would be great to organize I guess somewhat of a potluck. It would get us socializing and interacting with each other. Otherwise for the weather not being so great, it was fun. ”
