Medieval Madness is a dinner theatre experience in a 15th century setting. For the price of a ticket you get a 4-course dinner, 2 tankards of ale or 1 goblet of raspberry mead (from breweries that existed prior to 1453!), a comedy show, a real (not choreographed) sword competition....and of course, the company of your fellow members. There's also a bar that sells wine, mead, and blueberry beer, among other choices (including soft drinks).
Tickets for our group are discounted at $41.00 (~30% off). I know this might seem a bit expensive, but remember you're getting dinner, drinks and entertainment. Imagine how much dinner and a movie (especially at ticket prices these days) would cost, and suddenly this amount seems a lot more reasonable.
Please note that we will be locking in RSVPs several days in advance. Please keep your RSVP updated and accurate.*
- For those of you who already have a Google Offers (or other) voucher, bring a printout and please honor your RSVP (so we're not held liable for a missed reservation). You don't need to do anything except RSVP here and include your voucher # when answering RSVP questions.
- For everyone else who needs to buy a ticket, you must call in and pay for your ticket over the phone [masked]); simply RSVPing here does not guarantee you a spot. When calling, ask for Lord Vijay's group on June 16.
Since this is meant to be the 15th century, the meal is served family-style, and you should be prepared to eat with your hands. If you have any specific restrictions or allergies, the restaurant can make special arrangements (if you need to check on this, call them with questions at[masked] and please give them plenty of advance notice).
Medieval Madness is metro-accessible (Blue and Yellow). Street parking is free after 7pm, or the restaurant offers $8 all night parking if you'd prefer (just let them know by phone). Seating begins at 6:55 PM sharp, so please don't be late. You are more than welcome to bring friends, significant others, or family!
*Since dinner meetups require reservations and commitments to the restaurant, and since missing one of these meetups may take a spot away from someone else who wants to go, we'll need to have a stricter attendance policy than normal. For dinner meetups, a no-show will prohibit you from attending another dinner meetup for 4 months after the no-show. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
