Whether you're currently writing, gave up but want to restart, or have always wanted to but don't know how to get started ... please join us for our monthly writers meetup. This session is a chance to discuss ideas, work through problems or roadblocks, and get some writing done. Space is limited for this event, but a waiting list is available. Please keep your RSVP updated and accurate!*
This will be our ninth meeting, and based on the ideas we discussed in the previous meeting, we'll be using the time to go through a writing exercise, talk through any plot difficulties or roadblocks you're experiencing, and get some serious writing done. If this is your first time attending, please bring a word or phrase that you think might be intriguing to write about. We're going to place them in a hat, and pick one to kick off the meeting with a writing exercise, so please bring laptops or notebooks (depending on if you prefer to type or write by hand).
Kingstowne Library is located on the back side of the strip mall (parallel to Telegraph Rd). We'll be meeting in the Kingstowne Conference Room (we have the room until 5pm). There will be free wi-fi and power outlets available. There are also a number of great food options in the Landsdowne Center, including Greek/Italian, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese, if people want to grab food during or after.
