Dinner in the City (no reading required!)

Please join us for dinner in the city, following A Midsummer Night's Dream (Theatre meetup - no reading required!). Rosa Mexicano is known for its award-winning dishes, guacamole made tableside, and pomegranate margaritas. The restaurant is very close to the theatre, so we'll walk over after the show. If you do wish to attend the play, please remember that you must RSVP for it separately here.

Given the size of our group and that fact that it's a Saturday night in DC, we won't be able to sit together in one table, but will likely be spread across several smaller tables. Also, Rosa Mexicano does not offer split checks, but does offer split payments. When calculating out your portion of your table's bill, please don't forget to add tax (10% in DC) and gratuity.

If you'd like to whet your appetite, you can view the dinner menu and dessert menu for Rosa Mexicano.

Please keep your RSVP updated and accurate!* This event is space-limited, but we'll work with the restaurant to increase our reservation size as needed to accommodate everyone possible, so please add yourself to the waitlist if interested.

Lastly, we ask that you please bear in mind that this is a large group reservation, and that it takes a lot of work on the part of the restaurant service staff to accommodate our needs (as well as to process split payments). We ask that you please be polite and understanding with the restaurant, and that you treat our waitstaff with respect and consideration.

*Since dinner meetups require reservations and commitments to the restaurant, and since missing one of these meetups may take a spot away from someone else who wants to go, we'll need to have a stricter attendance policy than normal. For dinner meetups, a no-show will prohibit you from attending another dinner meetup for 4 months after the no-show. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!

We had a fun group at our table:) At dinner, I learned that one rule of being evil is to have a goatee. I also learned that David is NOT a Billy Goat, and even though he has a goatee, he does not consider himself to be an evil engineer.
