I'd really like to see a meetup about Cassandra. I know there has been tons of work put into Cassandra over the past several months.
Maybe we could get somebody from Digg or Twitter to talk about it? Who else is using it (or will use it) in production?

I work with DataStax. One of our co-founders is the Cassandra project lead, and several of the committers are among our engineering staff. I'll be happy to send someone to speak in the city.
