However, as your project evolves, you soon find yourself with spaghetti css, styles distributed amongst different files seemingly at random, and selectors in specificity hell. In this talk, Jon will discuss techniques for giving structure to your CSS with the help of Sass and Bourbon. The topics he will discuss include:

  • Using conventions to write maintainable CSS
  • Using SASS to keep your CSS DRY and semantic

The Java stuff was a little less applicable to our own technology stack but I found the sass talk pretty interesting. Currently I am using twitter bootstrap and css organization is always a challenge.
