I run RockIT Recruiting, we are a start-up ourselves, helping Bay Area start-ups build and grow their engineering teams. As a recruiting company, we witness a variety of interview and hiring practices- some great, others with great room for improvement:-) In such a competitive hiring market with new companies and new CXOs, we want to help growing companies refine these practices.
The Ruby community is always so active in providing support, and I'm sure you all have plenty of interviewing experience to draw on.
We are planning an event in December to help start-ups define their job requirements, refine their interview/hiring/offer processes, market themselves to engineers, and work with recruiters.
We want to make your voice heard and improve this process! Also, feel free to give feedback on the survey itself since it is our first iteration.
