Please join the San Francisco SPCA, the HSUS, the ASPCA and other animal welfare organizations for an exciting day of animal welfare advocacy and training at the California Humane Lobby Day 2013 at the State Capitol in Sacramento on June 19, 2013.
In a single day, you will help make a big difference in the lives of California’s animals by receiving advocacy tips and training, learning about current animal welfare legislation and taking part in memorable face-to-face visits with your elected officials. Your participation will help to stop the sale of live animals at swap meets, require non-lead ammunition in hunting to protect wildlife, end cruel wildlife trapping practices and protect bobcats affected by the fur trade.
Legislators are motivated by constituents who take the time to visit them, and you will be provided with all the information that you need to be an effective animal rights advocate. No previous legislative experience is required.
RSVP required: [masked]
Please also contact Brandy Kuentzel, SF SPCA Director of Advocacy, at [masked] to join the SF SPCA's table at the event and carpool.
Spread the word, and we look forward to seeing you in Sacramento on June 19!
