Seabirds In Our Sanctuaries
Karen Carlson, Seabird Protection Network
The overarching vision of the Seabird Protection Network is resilient seabird populations flourishing throughout the coastal and near-shore waters of California. The goal is to minimize levels of human disturbance (i.e., airplanes, boats and other human activities) to breeding and roosting seabird colonies along the California coast.
Currently, the Seabird Protection Network chapters are managed the Farallones Sanctuary and the Bureau of Land Management.
We meet in the upstairs Cabo Wabo room.
