Myself and a few others are headed to Pt. Lobos for 2 dives on Tuesday the 9th, and wondering if anyone wants to join. I've only been once before, but it was the best diving in the Monterey area I've done! The plan is the arrive there at 8:30am, do two dives, and head back by 2-ish to try to beat any traffic. I've spoken with the Pt. Lobos Dive Coordinator, and while it is safer to put in a reservation (via the Pt. Lobos Foundation website) she says for this weekday it is probably not needed- you can just show up and pay your $10 at the entrance. If you do want to make a reservation, it is best to buddy-up when submitting the form, as you pay for a team slot ($20) whether you are reserving for one or two people. There are currently NO teams signed up for that day, so it might be a nice un-crowded dive. I'm heading down from San Francisco that morning, but I think my car is already full- 3 people with gear. Hope you can join us!
