Let's go watch a tango performance with other singles!
A new community tango troupe (DanzArgentina) and a folkloric troupe (Ballet Folklrico Argentino de San Francisco) will present their first stage show on Sat, January 26th. Joined by guest artists, these groups will perform two dance theatre works: Buenos Aires 1915 and San Francisco 2008. Based on characters drawn from real life and imbedded in historical context, this full program will explore new facets of Argentine tango and folkloric dancing. Fun, sly, and thought provoking, the evening promises more than a few surprises.
