Jeff is looking for a new venue for this jam. Until he finds one, this jam is history.
If you know a good place on the Westside, please let me know.

So, is this being postponed?

Sorry it didn't work out. I believe in the Meetup site, each member maintains his own membership. As for the "mythical Jeff" comment and the "more like a cult than a jam"...uh....hmm, not sure how to address those comments. The Westside Jam is Jeff's jam. No cult. It's his deal, not mine. He's organized and hosted that jam for years. I merely provide the service of spreading information to those that might want it. Were you to organize and promote and host a jam of your own, I'd be happy to spread the word. And, I do so at my own expense (yes, I pay for the Meetup site out of my own pocket so that you and other members do not have to). From your comments, I infer that I've somehow offended you. Sorry that you got that impression. Happy trails.
This seems really weird. Who is Jeff and why is there no one asking me where I live? How many people want to come to Westchester at 8:00 pm? On Friday.

Dan, thanks for the offer. Jeff is a pretty top-notch mando player with a remarkably broad repetoire of Bluegrass music. He's also conversent in other genre but seems to gravitate towards Bluegrass. I think he would prefer a more public venue, rather than someone's home. As soon as I hear anything about a new venue, I'll post it here. Thanks again.
Real odd way of looking at it. You'd rather not do it at all, because the mythical Jeff might not like it? Sounds more like a cult than a jam.
I live in central LA, can't wait for this.
I'm in MdR. If you find one on the west side, I'm there...
I will be at the Julian family fiddle camp that you emailed us about!
