Valencia Clubhouse Jam

Due to popularity, we're moving this jam up to Valencia for awhile. We have a great venue there (albeit month-by-month).

The clubhouse costs us a few bucks, so if you have $1.00, please drop it in Randy's guitar case. That'll pretty much cover us. If you forget, no worries, just bring $2.00 next time.

Any money left over each month will be kept in the kitty for the following month(s). if we end up with more than $20.00 extra or so, Randy and I are going to Cabo (But we'll bring back $20.00 in snacks, soft drinks and beer for some subsequent jam).

This is a terrific jam for jam newbies and newcomers to bluegrass. If you can easily move between G, C and D, c'mon down and bring your capo! If you can't, then'll we'll play some two-chord songs....G and C can sound mighty good when you string 'em together correctly.

Please direct questions to me at the below address.

Cheers,

Phil

It was great fun, but we need more jammers. Only 4 of us this time.

Beginner Banjo player here! Any suggestions on how to get started? Perhaps some jam sessions for beginners?

    Hi all!

First, any of you headed to the so-called "Great 48" in Bakersfield next weekend? This is, imho, one of the best jams on the west coast.

Second, there's a "flash jam" happening down my way on Jan 1, and link for relevant details found at following url: https://www.facebook.com/avery.ellisman#!/photo.php?fbid=[masked]&set=oa[masked]&type=1&theater

Beyond above, am hoping to make a jam your way soon. Glad to be in the loop.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
