I live in Pasadena; I am a retired teacher. I miss my weekly breakfast with a friend who has passed on. It would be nice to meet some new friends!
I am always courteous.
For breakfasts, I like the Sunday buffet at Burger Continental.
I will definitely attend again.
Hi Walter, I'm sitting here thinking about how you just jump into the stream of life, suffering the good and bad consequences. I admire that in you and am trying to follow your example. Friends of ours have a brilliant daughter who is so fearful that she can't work or finish college. I wish I could get her to have some of your courage. BTW, Marc and I won't be there next week because we are going to a weekend folk. dance camp to learn more dances than I can possibly remember. Jan
Hi Walter, I am so glad you danced with us last night. You are more brave than I was when I first started. I would not have tried the difficult couple dance taught later, but you did. If you ever want mp3 files of the music taught or written instructions to dances, drop me an email at [masked]. Also, if you watch YouTube videos of dances, you will see that for many dances, different groups do the dance slightly differently. Don't be discouraged. We call that village differences.
Hi Walter, I'm delighted that you joined the Pasadena Folk Dance Co-op. I think you will fit into the Co-op perfectly because so many of our members are retired or active school teachers. Your photo reminded me that among the Co-op's Meetup members there is a Linda who is also riding a camel, although in the opposite direction. If you haven't already, see our website at: http://www.pasadenafolkdancecoop.org/.
Let me know if you have any questions. Hope to dance with you soon. Jan
Welcome Walter! Look forward to meeting you on Wednesday!
Just the Happy Hour is totally fine :) (the tickets are available anyway, they never expire)
Hi, I found you on the SoCal Excellent Social Friends page & I noticed your interest in adventures in good food. I just started an LA Foodie Specials meetup group to bring together friends who love food, like yourself, while saving you $$$ on your dinner expenses. We've got fun & adventurous events like the Kitchen Nightmares Meetup, where Chef Gordon Ramsay visits LA on his TV show to turn a restaurant around. How did the story end? Or begin? Hop on board & find out with us! http://bit.ly/mummb
