KiCAD, Arduino, & General Electronics

We will be using KiCAD to design simple circuits component for a environmental sensor board.  For those who have attened previous KiCAD meetups, we have received our PCB from OSH Park and have assembled the nRF8001 bluetooth board, the Si7021 Humidity sensor board, and the MPL3115A2 barometric sensor board.  We made a few mistakes along the way but after a few revisions, all three boards passed the preliminary functional test.

In addition to working on circuit board design, we will also be working on integrating the sensor board with Arduino programming.

Feel free to join us if you're a newbie like us or a seasoned veteran who doesn't mind helping out newbies.

If you are interested in attending please have a working copy of KiCAD installed, hopefully on an open source OS :)
