Live Theatre at UCLA: Hound of the Baskervilles with Les Klinger!

UPDATE.  I have had to close out the reservations as of this evening, Thursday June5, as noted, because the LATW would only hold our block of  tickets til Friday and I must give them our list in the morning.

However you can still  go, you will simply have to purchase your tickets on your own (if you give them the code  word "Sherlock" you will get some discount.)

There are several other performances as well, feel free to check them out.

Click here for the online ticket sales

Meanwhile I will see the 9 of you who have reserved there, meet me at the theatre at 2:30.  If you are late, I'll leave your ticket under your name at the box office and go on in.

Join us on a live theatre outing in Westwood to see the Los Angeles premiere  OF THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, adapted by David Pichette and R. Hamilton Wright, directed by Michael Hackett.

Sir Henry Baskerville will be played by  James Marsters (formerly the vampire Spike in Buffy, Brainiac in Smallville, and Captain John Hart in Torchwood).

Our friend the esteemed Sherlockian expert Les Klinger will be giving a post show talk and have a lobby display.

I have negotiated a special discount of $35/ticket for our group. and have reserved 20 seats together  but ONLY UNTIL THIS THURSDAY AFTERNOON at 3pm. You must pay and reserve by Thursday at 3 or we will lose those seats and the deeper discount.

(of course you can still go, just not with the discount through The Breakfast Club)

Regular prices for this show are $50/ticket.  A discount they're offering takes $10off making this $40, but.... our members' discount is a further $5 off that.  But you must reserve through this site to get our special price.

Act now, please, we only have 20, and we must buy before Friday.

Very well done production. Nice twist on the classic Doyle story that still stays true to the original.

Reading was a delight, excellent actors, creative and well-crafted adaptation, followed by Les Klinger's expert and enjoyable talk.

Sorry people. I'm giving up. Too much of a crowd here today. Please don't worry about it and enjoy the show. I will see everyone at the next event.
