After taking all of you to nice venues in popular entertainment hotspots like Clarke Quay, Boat Quay and Orchard Road on Fridays, it is time for me now to take all of you to nice venues in Raffles Place starting with Far East Square.
Raffles Place is the island's business and financial hub. The district is overwhelmed by skyscrapers, owned by local and foreign banks as well as Multi-National Corporations (MNCs). This is also where you find the offices of the major ministries and Government-Linked Companies (GLC), such as Temasek Holdings, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
Far East Square
It is a unique enclave located in the very heart of Singapore’s Central Business District.
Covering an area of 16,550 sq meters (178,000 sq ft), the square has commercial space for restaurants, bars, shops, and other outlets catering mainly to the office crowds of the Financial District.

This year Vesak Day falls on Friday and it is a public holiday. Normally my social gatherings are on Fridays. Since 24th May(Friday) is a public holiday, let us have our social gathering on Thursday for a change.
This event has been published in some big and popular Meetup groups and a big turnout is expected. Hence be prepared to make new friends not only from this group but also from other big and popular Meetup groups.
Bull and Bear
