Welcome to SJ Mingle with the Singles Unique Events
We accept members from 35 and over!!!
Let's be Friends!!!
There will be social meetups, movies, bowling, days at the beach, kayaking, tubing, whitewater rafting, day trips, weekend trips, week trips, cruises, all inclusive trips, roller skating, ice skating, sports outings ,themed dinner nights out, outings, happy hours, comedy nights, we try to do events that are out of the ordinary and occasional workshops and seminars.
This is a unique way to make new friends to enjoy the various events with. We try to keep events as reasonable $$ wise as possible but having fun -that is key! Suggestions for meetups are welcome, just email me via the meetup site and if we think there will be enough interest we will post it .
We have a very positive , fun and no pressure type of group/events.We do not have any cliques and or deal with any drama. if it occurs, those members will be removed from the group.
You can never have enough Single Friends to hang out with. So Come and hang with us. The organizers of this group really care about our members, we are more of a family than just individuals.
It is sad that I have to mention this but any form of disrespect or harassment to any member in this group will result in immediate removal and you will be banned. We will zealously defend our group to always remain a safe and hassle-free environment.
Photos: This is important! You must have a legible/current
up close photo of your face posted to your profile. Its important for all of the hosts, and organizers and other members to know what you look like. most importantly for event hosts , as its difficult for us to know who is in attendance or not for the event. we don't want to mark you as a no show if you really are there.
Fees: There is a $1 fee per meetup at every event. The fee's cover cost of the meetup website and any additional cost incurred by the group. Even if you bring a guest, the fee is required. It does not matter what time you show up to the meetup, the fee is still required.
Please remember most folks join groups such as this to take the pressure out of dating and become friends only..So if a member says NO - NO means NO. This is not Match.com, Plenty of Fish, Tagged.com, Tinder, meet me.com or a match making site. If problems should arise and they are serious enough you will be removed from the group.
We have just started something new for NEW MEMBERS and Existing Members as well- The Chat and Chews New Member Mixers - our first one was a big success. C'mon out and meet the group organizers/ hosts and a few people who have been members for awhile. Learn the guidelines of meetup and the requirements to be a member in good standing. All members should attend at least one Chat n Chew. This is important.
This groups is for meeting new single people and having fun together.
Please share this group with any singles you know, we want this group to grow so we can make new friendships.
Please Note: RSVP's : I am glad you made the decision to join our group. I want to keep it a live, viable fun group to belong to. When you respond with a 'Yes' RSVP, please adhere to that positive answer. 'No' RSVP's are not necessary when responding initially to an event. I do realize that things can just pop up to change your plans. In those cases, please change your RSVP to "No" or contact me by email please- to update your RSVP. Some events have limited availability and your consciously changing your RSVP will allow someone who's waiting to attend.
if you show up to a meetup and did not RSVP - in my book you attended the event and you will be added to the attendance list.
Please remember if a former member is removed from the group for any reason they are not welcome to any future meetups.
NOTE: Please do not relentlessly force business, and or any announcements charity ventures on members and or event pages. It makes members feel uncomfortable and it will not be tolerated by this group.
We can't wait to meet you!
Thanks and Welcome!!! Annette :} ~ Your cruise director : )
