This kind of adventure is part and parcel of why I returned west. Have access to equipment, but need formal instruction. With overwinter instruction and preparation I might be ready for this trip. Would appreciate your input in that regard.

Hi Brad, the level 3 course was great, we are going to be paddling Cow Bay practising rolls and braces and rescues again in the afternoon of Nov 5th if you feel like coming up for it (busy this weekend). We are interested in the Deer Group or BGI for next spring but its too early to commit. please keep us posted! thanks

we had a great time last week bracing and rolling with you on Elk lake, - I would love to join on the Deer Group but the timing is off for me - I will be prepping for my level 3 at the end of that week. The roll is coming along well, but still needs practice! I will likely be on Cowichan Bay on Oct 3rd working on the routine. Maybe we will see you there if the Deer Group doesnt go ahead?

Hi Brad,
I am still back east and still recovering from this very difficult eye surgery. basically the surgeon blinded me so it's hard to read and use the computer....I still am hopeful that the blinding light will diminish. But in any case i am back in victoria on the 26th and will be back on the water after that. As for dues.....just hold on for the moment.
