Do you love to play Classical Music and miss playing music with others? We are an adult group that plays small chamber music pieces.  We will select music for various combinations of instruments for string ensembles, quartets, trios and small orchestra pieces.  If you play violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, harp, oboe or clarinet, please come join us.  We definitely need pianists!  We will focus on pieces from the Baroque to Romantic time periods. We are seasoned intermediate to advanced players.  Come just play for fun during rehearsals or join us in giving small house concerts.  We met on Feb 10th 2013 for the first time to play Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances Suite no 1. We need more players to cover all the parts.  We will be select new pieces.  Join us!

We meet the 4th Sunday of every month from 3-5pm. Everyone will bring an appetizer to share so after the rehearsal we can visit and get to know each other. Join us to play great music and establish friendships.

Anyone interested in 2 saxophone players? My fiancé and I are new in town and definitely looking for musical outlets. I play soprano/alto and he plays tenor/bari. We can cover parts in Bb and Eb. It's also quite easy for a bari sax to cover bass clef instruments in C. Let us know if you can use us and we'd love to come!

Jamie, let's cross our fingers your instruments arrive in time, but if they don't get here, please feel free to come anyway to meet everyone. You could come closer to 4:30pm when we will break for food and socializing I just emailed Michele to find out if her cellist friend is coming. If we don't have a cellist that would be great to have you play that part! If we do have a cellist maybe you play the bassoon part and Mat can do the bass part. Can't wait to meet you both!

We got our saxophones today! I only have my alto, but that will work for the bassoon/cello parts. We will print out the parts and look them over to see what works. I don't think we'll get a chance to actually practice because we're in a hotel at the moment. But we're excited and will come ready to play - We will see you next week!

Again for those that haven't printed their music yet, the music website doesn't allow me to copy the exact link for you to click on to print, so you need to go to the main website. Once on their main page type in the search field the following: Respighi Ancient Airs and Dances. It will show you several search items and you want to click on the link for Respighi Ancient Airs and Dances Suite No. 1. At the top of the page that comes up there are 4 recordings (each of the 4 movements). Then in the next section right underneath the recordings you can see the Full score (don't print that) to it is a tab that shows 12 parts. This tab has the 12 separate instrument parts. You will want to print just your instrument part for all 4 movements. You can email me if you are still having problems and tell me a good time to call you in the evening to walk you through the printing of the music. See you soon, Anna

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
