UPDATE:  PLEASE GO ABOVE TO "MORE" THEN "FILES" THEN "MUSIC FOR MEDIEVAL MUSIC 2014' AND PRINT THE CORELLI GIGA AND BRING WITH YOU!!

UPDATE:  NEW MUSIC HAS BEEN PICKED!!  WILL START THIS THURSDAY!!!

Fall is in the air and it's time to once again gather with friends, new and old, and PLAY MEDIEVAL MUSIC!  This is the longest running TEACHING and PERFORMING medieval group in the US.  We welcome ALL BEGINNING LEVELS OF MUSICIANS but EVERYONE PLAYS SOMETHING.  If you've always wanted to try a simple instrument, we'll start you on the drum and maybe, the recorder.  It's easy, FUN and a great way to spend and evening.

PLEASE BRING A MUNCHIE (we play from 7pm till 8:30, then we munch and yak).  Please post WHAT YOU PLAY.  Our first couple of times will be focused on determining what level everyone is and how we can make the most music.  THIS IS NOT AN ADVANCED GROUP...that group is coming later this fall.  LEAVE YOUR EGO AND YOUR FEARS AT THE FRONT DOOR AND COME AND PLAY SOME MUSIC!  TRY A NEW INSTRUMENT, MEET A NEW FRIEND, LEARN A NEW SONG.....

HI Mary Amanda, My husband Ted has had a flareup of his diverticulitis. I'd come myself however Ted is not too good at taking care of himself. I am sad, because I have always wanted to play a small harp. Guess it will be next time. Have a wonderful time. .

I think we will be wearing our medieval costumes. Ted will bring his instrument, the frog. I play piano, have played organ so I know my finger substitution for a harpschord

Is it ok to dress. We haven't worn our costumes in ages and are looking forward to wearing them. If you prefer us not wear them that is ok too (sob, sob).

Were we suppose to download something, or can we get it there? I was looking for the link, if there was one.

I am a classically trained trumpet player, so I'd be comfortable hacking my way around some wind instrument or just bringing the ol' ax.
