Lecture - Model Posing and Interaction

  • Jan 22, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

One of our most highly requested classes. Instead of being part of the Potraiture Bootcamp module we had recently in the past, this is now a standalone lecture.

Model Posing and Interaction

There's a lot to know in photography, and the scary part is once one learns the technical of photography and a little bit about lighting, the next big whopper of a problem comes up; How to pose the model. Join us as we teach you tips, tricks, and techniques to help you take your model posing and interaction skills to a new level. This lecture is great for photographers new and old and covers a wide gamut of ideas and scenarios to help get you going.

This lecture covers

Posing models for fashion, glamor, senior portraits, and more.
Posing Males and Females from ages 18+
How to interact with your models and convey what you want
Making people look like models in just a few steps
Posing models of different body types
And so much more

This is not a class for posing children, but we can discuss it afterwards

Attendees will receive a lecture booklet for notes with copies of the presentation.

This was my first MaS meet-up and it certainly exceeded my expectations. Not only was it a lecture, but Trent brought in a great model and put the theory into practice. Excellent practical advice on how to talk with your model and be able to capture those special moments when the model looks awesome. Next time I will bring my camera to ALL MaS meet-ups

    Hello Trent,
This is Retz, I signed for both meet ups this week, but apparently, you sent a notice where both meet ups were postponed for February, so I did not show up, can you please clarify??

This was a really great portion of the bootcamp. I am really tempted to take it again to learn more. Are you teasing us, or will Elizabeth be one of the models?

Hey Trent, I paid the $25 for the "Bokeh Wonderland" workshop but can't make it to the new date. Can I just pay you the $15 difference for this class at the door?
