Biggest group for a while with Melissa and her daughter, Jim, and Nicole bringing it to 13 this week. Jim's Ra and Apep is almost complete and fantastically gorgeous, plus you have to see the socks he's working on - incredible! Claire showed off a lovely shawl in pale turquoise and gray. Stacie wowed with hand dyed yarns that were spectacular as was the pretty little shrug she wore. Raquel is working on another Bermuda shawl in a super soft acrylic/wool blend that is beautiful. Betsy, our latest convert to hooking, started her second crocheted baby blanket for charity. Way to go Betsy! Steph brought out her glorious log cabin afghan to work on; Monteen continued to work on her beautiful green sweater. Looks like Nicole is nearing completion of her afghan and showed off yarn for a lace tunic she wants to make next. Couldn't tell what Melissa, her daughter, Jennifer and Amanda were making except that Amanda's was in her Univ. colors.

Scheduling conflict :( Will have to meet you all the week after!
Thanks for the warm welcome! It turns out that my husband has work that afternoon so it looks like I'll have to wait another week before I get to meet you all.
Really looking forward to it!

Come to hang out while visiting with new and old fiber friends.
We meet every Sunday afternoon but sometimes we take roadtrips and meet fantastic people:
In October 2011 we met Stephanie Pearl-Mcphee (Yarn Harlot) and Ysolda Teague!
If you like the fiber arts and want to meet others who do too then sign up (it's free!) and RSVP.
Let’s get out of the house, get together and chat. Bring your sticks and string and I’ll meet you there!
Meet us on Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/snb-281--san-antonio-central
We have daily discussion and KALs from time to time, too!
Once you've joined us for a meeting, please leave a review or contact me with any questions or comments! I love to get feedback that will help us to make our fabulous group even better.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
