I'm here and this my first meeting. Where do y'all sit?

Hi, Jessica. I showed up and couldn't find anyone either. I stayed for about half an hour knitting by myself. Then I went home. Like you this was my first meeting, and honestly I'm not inspired to show up for next meeting. I hope things work out for you.
I'm sorry you missed us. Please come back next week. I plan on it. If you have a smart phone just download the app and post that you are there and looking for everyone . I got a notification when Roberta put her message on. It really does just sound like a fluke this week.

Stacy, I am so sorry you found no regulars at the meetup this week. I was off yarn crawling and didn't make it back in time. Normally I am at Panera by 12 at the latest. Stacy, please don't leave the group based on one bad experience. And please don't blame Stacie. She has an enormous amount on her plate and rarely gets to make meetups these days. Give us one more chance. Yarn Crawl week is unusual circumstances. Please accept my sincerest apologies for having to sit by yourself, believe me I know how it feels as it has happened to me in another group. Roberta, thanks for holding down the fort this week! Glad you and Jessica connected, just sorry you missed Stacy. Hope to see you all next week.

Oops, autocorrect messed with my post. I meant to tell Stacy it was too bad we didn't connect.
Hi all, Jessica and I spotted each other and spent a very pleasant time knitting, Crocheting and getting to know each other It took me a while to realize that other members of the group were probably at the yarn crawl. Draft, I am sorry not to have connected with you as well.
If I can figure out how to do it, I am leaving this group. I didn't like being stood up tonight at all. I have very limited means and opportunity to get out of my apartment and I looked forward all week to meeting you all. To sit in a cafe by myself knitting for half an hour only to have not even the event organizer show up really hurt. I don't post pictures of myself on the web for safety reasons and I don't give out my phone number for the same reason, but it might be a good idea Ms. Dawson to post your contact information somewhere noticeable on the site so new members like me have that information rather than blindly and in good faith sitting in a cafe that may not even have been the correct one for half an hour being stared at like she had three heads while she knit hoping one of her fellow knitters would come up to her and start a conversation.
I' m here. Where is every one?
Hi, Roberta. I showed up and there was no one that I could see knitting, so I sat and took out my knitting at a table I though large enough to accommodate us, but no body joined me. Honestly, I am not inspired to show up next week. I looked forward to this all week and to be stood up doesn't feel good. To the best of my knowledge even Ms. Dawson didn't show up. There was someone asking for Stacy (Stacie) for about two minutes then they walked out and that was that--before I had any time to react or even put my knitting down. I'm really upset about this and really hope that if this was your first experience and you dare the next meeting it goes better for you. It would have been nice to get to know you better, but like I said this first experience was just too upsetting to repeat. Good luck.
I know, y'all are yarn crawling.
Sorry, Jessica. Something I'm not conversant in. Perhaps if Jennifer comes she can help you. I may or may not make it. Going yarn crawling.

I haven't tried that yet but it sounds interesting. Not quite sure if I will be there yet but will try and help if I can

Thanks... It is for a Tardis blanket. (Dr who) if I can't figure out that one there's one that is filet crochet that I'll try out.

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out color changes with bobbins in either regular crochet or Tunisian?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
