A VERY easy-paced 5km, 1.5 to 2 hour stroll (AS Class 3) around Brisbane's Enoggera Reservoir along the Araucaria Track, through rainforest and past giant hoop pines. Most of the track is gently sloping and shaded. Optional post-stroll one-hour stop or so at the Green Tree Frog Café for lunch or coffee.
Please wear good walking shoes (I've seen snakes here once), bring a water bottle, hat and insect/leech repellent.

Please do NOT to swim in the reservoir as this is one of the sources for SEQ's drinking water. While the water does get treated, swimming in the water source increases water quality risks and treatment costs.
Weather options: If the weather forecast indicates ‘a few showers’, I’ll still go if it is only sprinkly rain. But if it's full-on rain, I'll post a cancellation by 7am that morning on this web site.
