Join us for our first Pecha Kucha style gathering! These are a ton of fun, and I'm excited to get one started for SOFLUX. Pecha Kucha started in '03 in Tokyo and is a excellent way to network, and share ideas.

WHAT YOU NEED: Create your own PechaKucha presentation to share. It should have 20 slides which automatically advance every 20 seconds. You'll present your slides to the group on a topic that interests you. Your presentation will last only 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

Focus on a theme, maybe something about UX that interests you, or what you do professionally, something you learned recently, or a company or application you created, etc. Share your passion about the field.

WHAT TO BRING: You can bring your own computer, a thumb drive or put it somewhere you can get to it online. We will have a mac on hand and online with PowerPoint on it.

DO I HAVE TO PRESENT?? No, you can come to watch, but I strongly encourage you to present. It's a great personal exercise, and without a lot of presenters there won't be much to watch ;)

Depending on the number of RSVP's we may need to switch locations, but currently we will plan on Citrix.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
