Greetings, one and all!

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month which runs, officially, from September 15-October 15, I am scheduling this special MULTI-GENRE workshop for those of you who love and perform songs from Spain and Latin America, or would like to. It is a good opportunity to work on songs you've sung before or try out new repertoire, and receive help with Spanish and Portuguese diction, interpretation and style.

Bring 2 copies of your songs of any genre: Classical, Folk, Popular, Jazz, Traditional. Full accompaniment is required. Singer/guitarists are welcome to attend and share your repertoire with members and friends. Feel free to bring friends with whom you perform or have performed, as well as those who would like to listen.

This meetup is also open to actors, poets and storytellers, as well as pianists, guitarists and other instrumentalists who play and recite Hispanic pieces. We welcome your contributions!

POTLUCK GOODIES: Please bring something Spanish or Latin American to eat or drink.

Cost of Meetup: Members of STSANY:$20; Non-Members: $25 (in cash, exact amount, at the door)

RSVP by Sunday, October 13 at 11:45 p.m. at the very latest!! Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the meetup as the elevator is busy at that time. Also: If you find you cannot attend, please change your RSVP.

If you have any questions about material you can perform, please send me an email.

I look forward to seeing you on October 14th and celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!

Cheers,

Anna

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
