Below are some "reviews" I have received from members and friends.
Please read "pages" on our website for details about STSANY, a Non-Profit Creative Arts Collective-Cooperative for Singers, Actors, Instrumentalists, Dancers, etc., which offers many opportunities to members including workshops, private lessons in singing and acting, master classes, informal musicales, showcases, special musical/theatrical events. Outreach performances are one of our main goals. Look at our photos, as well!
PLEASE NOTE: A recording of the concert will be available at a future date (to purchase), and will be posted on YouTube. I'll be sure to let you know when it is completed.
PLEASE NOTE: Come to our Singing/Acting workshop on Sept. 27 (to be posted soon). Bring songs and monologues to work on, as usual. We will also begin reading through holiday songs which we sing during the holidays, as we did last year. Come and be a volunteering member of the JOYFUL NOISE CAROLERS in bringing joy to folks in difficult circumstances throughout the City. I need help searching for and arranging venues, so please volunteer for that, as well!
PLEASE NOTE: Other events are in the works, so come on out to meetups and get started on what you like to do most: Sing, act, improve your skills, volunteer.
See you soon!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for transforming what could have been an extremely melancholy evening into a joyful and uplifting experience!!
I hope you could sense the warmth and gratitude that we all felt toward you and your wonderful performers last night.
Your musical offerings were not only touching and heartfelt, but hopeful and inspiring as well!!
I'm so very glad that I was there to be a part of it, even if only as a member of a most appreciative audience.
Happy Trails to you, Anna, till we meet again!
Cheers and Good Wishes,
Cheryl (Asher) - Audience member

September 11 Concert
This past Tuesday I was blessed to be able to perform in a concert in remembrance of September 11, organized by Anna Bartos. Anna is a gifted coach with a broad understanding of various musical genres in many languages. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and inspiring to work with. She did an excellent job of bringing together a group of people performing different types of vocal and instrumental music, and created a program that had appeal for a broad audience.
Speaking for myself personally, as someone who began serious study of classical singing when I was older, it is very difficult to break into many of the highly competitive local groups using classical singers. This concert had the intimacy of something you might find outside of New York, while at the same time being very much of New York.
