From: Anna B.

Greetings!

I want to encourage all members - SINGERS, ACTORS, PIANISTS, GUITARISTS - who are interested in joining our Joyful Noise Carolers in performing for those in need at shelters, residences and other outreach venues, to attend this week's meetup. Some performances will be during the day, others in the evening, and some possibly on the weekends. Please tell me when you might be available.

I am in the process of scheduling performances at the following venues, and possibly others:

1) GODDARD RIVERSIDE SENIOR CENTER at 593 Columbus Avenue (10024): They have offered us the following dates at 1:30 p.m.:

Wednesday, December 12; Monday, December 17

Wednesday, December 19 or Thursday, December 20 (approximately an hour of caroling). Please contact me ASAP if you can sing, and which days work for you. Can any of you perform during the day?

2) THE CHURCH OF ST. FRANCES XAVIER at 55 West 15th St. in Chelsea: They have offer a homeless shelter, food pantry and other services. Date pending.

3) WOMEN IN NEED for women and their children. Locations in Harlem, The Bronx and Brooklyn: http://women-in-need.org/ Dates pending.

NOTE: The Joyful Noise Carolers need more singers, especially MEN! Please come out for this worthy event. You'll love the music we'll be singing: Traditional carols in English, Spanish and possibly other languages; secular/popular Christmas songs; Chanukah and Kwanzaa songs; popular, Broadway and other songs. We welcome your suggestions and contributions to our repertoire!

Thank you so much for wanting to participate in our holiday events. FYI: Those who would like to perform on the holiday concert should contact me immediately to arrange an audition time. You can also audition at the meetup.

We hope to see you this coming Wednesday, October 17, at 6:00 p.m. Be sure to RSVP.

Best wishes,

Anna
