SOS, Secular Organizations for Sobriety, also known as "Save OurSelves", provide a secular alternative to religiously based 12-step programs to counter addiction. While the name may imply an interest only in alcohol abuse the group deals with any addiction - alcohol, drug, eating, etc. The group will address these addictions without involving religious beliefs, but you do not need to be an atheist, agnostic or other free thinker to participate.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
