Meditation Walk @ NC Museum of Art (NCMA)

We've walked at NCMA before on the inner trails and focused on the art that we saw along the way.  For this walk, we'll start out on the new blue trail that veers off to the right of the main paved trail (reconnecting with the main paved trail near the art loop), we'll continue on with the outer unpaved trail following it back to the Lowe's pavilion and lake area, then follow the paved trail back up to the amphitheater.

Once we're back near the amphitheater we'll spend some time in silence exploring the "P-I-C-T-U-R-E   T-H-I-S" that compromise the landscape near the art museum; then finish up at the upper sitting area (near the east building) for a few minutes of silence/journaling before heading out or hanging around to talk.

We'll be on paved and dirt trails that are relatively flat and smooth.  I'm guesstimating that the distance is ~ 2.5 miles.  Plan on about 1.5 hours to walk, explore the "PICTURE THIS" and hold a bit of silence.

I enjoyed being fully present when we stopped at the deck overlooking the pond - frog croaks and ducks landing in formation. The 2 "PICTURE THIS" letters that stand out for me are "C" - childlike and "R" - real, messy real! I struggled with the plain letters (T, U) ... boredom?; and, I struggled with the worded letters ... too much thinking? Great weather for a summer walk.

Best walk yet & they've all been great! I enjoyed the pace, the length, the talk before the meditation. The emphasis on the letters and sayings was very informative & FUN.

Unfortunately I will be out of town attending a conference that weekend. Hopefully I will be able to attend next time. In Love and Light ~Gypsie~
