Spirituality is very important to me but I'm not religious. Recently my spirituality has come alive since learning about shamanism, animal totems, and attending drumming circles. I prefer to connect with the Divine in Nature. I feel that the peace and silence that comes from walking outdoors aids me in hearing my intuition, grounds me, and relieves stress. I believe that there is Divine guidance available if I quiet my mind and that Nature speaks to me if I pay attention. I believe that being in Nature is one of the best ways to connect with the Source of All That Is, especially if approached reverently with gratitude.
I love to kayak out at Jordan lake and video tape the animals I encounter there. Sometimes I set a specific intention for my journey's and write about them in my journal when I come home but most of the time I just enjoy the adventure and variety of each experience at the lake
I love walking in nature it is a very spiritual experience for me and reinforces my interest in Shamanism
