With all of the rain we have had and now milder temperatures, it's a great time to spend a few hours shooting at Gibbs Gardens. In case you have not been there, Gibbs is a vast landscaped garden of more than 100 acres of tailored grounds. The Japanese Garden with it's ponds and stream will be terrific. There are still lots of annuals and perennials showing and the summer wildflowers are in good shape. There is a very nice deli and dinning terrace and trams to help you get around. Sunday hours are 9 to 5 with admission of $20 ($18 for us over 65). With our group certain to be over 20 people, everyone gets the $18 fee by identifying ourselves as SPS members. Wear good walking shoes and travel light. Be sure to have your macro and a mid range telephoto. Complete info and directions are at gibbsgardens.com.
Linda and I will see you at the entrance at 9.
