When I started talking about architecture from a software quality perspective, most people at Pearson looked at me like I had lost my mind. After 2 years of consistently educating anyone that would listen, I finally have a spot at the "Architecture" table inside the Pearson Learning Technologies group. You ask, "what does this mean?".
I will explain my views on...
- What Software Quality architecture is.
- How a Software Quality Architect places an instrumental role in your organization.
- Walk you through a case study where having proper software quality architecture has allowed a DevOps team to have an incredible velocity.
Erik Stensland is currently the Software Quality Architect at Pearson - Learning Technologies where he is leading the overall technical quality architecture initiative. Erik has been a lifelong innovator and as an international speaker on topics relating to testing and test automation he enjoys giving back to the testing community. Originally from Iowa and after spending 12 years in Silicon Valley, he currently lives south of Denver, Colorado with his wife and daughter; where he absolutely enjoys the outdoor life of Colorado.
