Mobile Testing - Why is my Hair on Fire!

The mobile world is rapidly approaching four billion users and that doesn't even include the 10's of billions of other electronic devices. It is undisputed that in today's digital society, mobile applications are playing an essential role.  It is no longer just OK to develop a mobile app, companies must ensure their apps are reliable, performant, high quality and fast to market. In this context, Mobile Application Testing is becoming a crucial element in the strategy of software quality organizations world-wide.

We will dive into the depths of the mobile testing "fire" and see if your "hair catches fire" too.  Key points will include but not limited to a better understanding of mobile life cycle, automation/tools, performance/tools and even interview questions.  Come share with me your story while I share a glimpse into why "my hair is on fire"!

I've been doing automation on mobile devices with Appium for both native apps and mobile browser testing. I'm curious how others are doing this.
